A new local history newsletter has been issued for anyone interested in local history. Take a look by clicking on this link:
The purpose of ths page is to inform anyone interested in the village of Barford St Martin and its history about the activities and aims of Barford’s Historical Society. It is also an open invitation to anyone who has any information about Barford that might help it to achieve those aims (for example, old photographs), to either attend future meetings or to contact the Secretary or any member of the society so that the information can be logged in a convenient way.
The minutes of the first meeting of the Society, which set out the areas in which future research is to be carried out and which includes the points of contact of most current members, will be published here in due course.
Copies of the book ‘The Green Dragon and other Barford Stories’ may be obtained at a price of £4.95 by contacting Celia Whiteside: email@example.com
The content of this page will be developed as the Society progresses. Please contact Roy Wilde, the Society’s Secretary: firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
